About us
The Oven Cleaning Company Behind 301 Five-Star Reviews
Oven Refresh is an independent, local oven cleaning business covering Ramsbottom, Bury and Bolton. Same person on the phone, same person at your door.
Our story
Cleaning ovens across the Ramsbottom valley since 2016
Oven Refresh started in 2016 as OvenRescue Bolton and has been deep-cleaning domestic ovens across Ramsbottom, Bury and Bolton ever since. Over that time the business has built up more than 301 published Google reviews at an average of 4.9 out of five — which, for a one-van independent, takes a lot of ovens and a lot of repeat customers.
It is deliberately not a franchise. Andy quotes the job, Andy turns up, and Andy does the work. Nothing is subcontracted and nobody is sent in his place, so the standard does not drift and there is never a conversation about who said what on the phone.
Most of the work now comes from recommendations and from customers booking the same cooker in year after year — which is exactly how a local trade business ought to run.
How we work
The things that actually matter on the day
Stripped down properly
Door glass separated and cleaned on both inner faces, shelves and racks tank-cleaned outside, and the fan cover and element cleaned by hand — not a wipe round the front.
Insured and DBS checked
Fully insured and DBS checked, working in people's homes across the area every week since 2016.
Fixed prices
The price is agreed before any work starts. No call-out charge, no travel surcharge for the outlying villages, and nothing added on at the end.
Around your day
Seven days a week including evenings. You do not need to be in the kitchen while we work — just access, a socket and a tap.
Left as we found it
Floors protected, worktops wiped, everything refitted and function-tested. The only difference should be the oven.

“We inherited a filthy range cooker from the previous owner and had no idea where to start. It looks like a new cooker now — thank you.”
